We at Machu Picchu IFPP believe is necessary to
implement a regional force of men and women who can respond to
wildfire incidents which predicably and frequently affect the
eco-system surrounding Machu Picchu's Sanctuary. We do not intend,
however, that Machu Picchu IFPP, be defined by a territory or
confined only to a Latin American nation; just the opposite. Rather,
we are a database, coalescing an inventory of professional-response
fire teams, with high technology materiel dedicated in the service
of ecological preservation of the tropical regions of Latin America
and, by extension of our operating principles, the forests of the
world. Our chief aim and purpose, however, is to avoid deforestation
through fire destruction of tropical forests.
Machu Picchu IFPP, is a virtual organization that doesn't seek to
gather funds, or donations. Rather, IFFP gives suppliers'
information and manages voluntary and professional forces,
normalizing operation systems and establishing Unified Command on
the scene.
I wish to thank for their help, many friends in the international
community whose cooperation made Machu Picchu IFPP viable. Special
thanks go out to David T. Crews, CEM, (Certified Emergency
Managment) Administrator of Emergency Management Gold, from
Clearwater, Kansas first responded to our requests for assistance;
Tom J. Robinson, amiable friend and partner from Richmond, Virginia
operates professionally and internationally in many fire emergency
spheres and is Official International Representative of the Ministry
of the Civil Defense of the Russian Federation, EMERCOM (Emergencies
and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters); and to
my great friend, John Anderson, of Global Emergency Response from
Calgary, Alberta, Canada, who monitors and daily gathers and
disseminates global fire information from wildfire-detecting
satellite systems and online eco-media sources and who revised our
emergency reponse concepts, translating into better English our IFFP
goals and objectives. Sincerely yours,
